2010 CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE Rouge

Note :  93/100

"A stunning sleeper of the vintage, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Tour de l'Isle offers abundant aromas of sweet black currant and black cherry fruit intermixed with lavender and other floral notes as well as hints of roasted Provencal herbs, dusty earth and forest floor. This rich, full-blodied 2010 possesses terrific depth, purity and texture as well as 12-15 years of aging potential. Bravo!"

2010 Tour de l'Isle GIGONDAS Rouge

Note : 92

"A small production of 400 cases, the 2010 Gigondas Tour de l'Isle is a blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre aged in equal parts concrete and small barrels. This beauty exhibits a dense purple color as well as lots of black raspberry, blueberry and mulberry fruit, a full-bodied mouthfeel, sweet tannin, decent acidity and a long finish. It is another terrific 2010 Gigondas from this great vintage."

2009 CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE Rouge

"Red Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2009 has a deep ruby red in color, this wine has aromas red and black berries intermingled with spice. In tastethe spice and black pepper bring out hints of raspberries, currants and blueberries. A wine to be drunk with red meats and game."Note :  93/100

INTERNATIONAL WINE CELLAR

Tour de l'Isle 2009 CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE Rouge

Note : 89-91

"Dark purple. An expressive bouquet offers blackberry, flowers and exotic note of apricot. Juicy, expansive dark berry flavors are lifted by tangy acidity but show no rough edges. A borderline fruit bomb that shows a lot of sweet, forward fruit; the finish is smooth, sweet and nicely persistent."

Note : 17.5

"Dark ruby. Racy stuff without the intensity of many Châtauneufs but good balance and drinkability-which is not to be sneezed at. A sort of Domaine de Chevalier of a Châteuneuf. Rather low key but rather delicious."

2007 Tour de l'Isle GIGONDAS Rouge

Note : 92

Drink : 2009-2021

"A new estate for me, Tour de l'Isle's 2007 Gigondas is unquestionably a sleeper of the vintage. This beatiful wine offers crushed raspberry liqueur-like notes intertwined with notions of licorice, forest floor, and floral undertones. Superb concentration, a deep, full-bodied mouthfeel, admirable purity and texture, and a long finish suggest this beauty should drink well for 10-12 years."

2005 CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE Rouge

Note : 90

"Deep ruby. Powerful raspberry and kirsch aromas offer impressive deph and clarity. Deep, round and sweet, with weighty red berry liqueur flavors, a velvety texture and soft tannins. Approchable already, this is flat-out delicious."

was rewarded by Decanter Magazine with 3 stars and 16/20. "Raspberry jam and musk aromas. Lovely fruit. Dry, earthy tannins. Nicely integrated and long. Will need time to reach its zenith. Drink from 2012. "

2004 CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE Rouge

Note : 88

"The third cuvee, the 2004 Châteaneuf du Pape Tour de l'Isle, has a dark ruby color and a bit more upfront fruit in a pure expression of kirsch liqueur. The wine is ripe, medium-bodied, spicy, peppery, and a quite classic Châteauneuf du Pape. Drink it over the next 6-10 years".
